In celebration of the Exploring Art of the Ancient Americas: The John Bourne Collection exhibit, the Frist Center and the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) at Vanderbilt University is hosting an authentic five-course dinner, where Mareike Sattler, senior lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Vanderbilt University and instructor of K'iche’ Mayan, explains the historical and social significance of the foods and drinks selected for each course.
