The Scenecast is in MPEG-4 format to take advantage of chapter and image technology that .m4a files support. Microsoft's Windows Media Player doesn't support these files by default, though users can download and install Windows Media Player additions so that it will.
As an alternative to updating Windows Media Player, a .mp3 version of the Scenecast is available above. And, of course, Apple's iTunes supports .m4a files for both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
You may also subscribe to the Scenecast and have iTunes download it for you automatically whenever the latest episode is available.
