Those who frequent the
Scene’s home page may have noticed that we opened up our choice for Nashvillian of the Year to reader balloting. The Nashvillian who received the most votes was recent Nobel Prize winner Al Gore. But given that Gore has been widely acknowledged for his work, we decided instead to tell the story of one of Nashville’s unsung heroes, whose street level advocacy we find compelling. She is Clemmie Greenlee, and
you can read her story here.
