Earache My Ry(man)

Unless you've spent the last 30 years under a rock, a Cheech and Chong history lesson isn't the least bit necessary. And if you've managed to go this long without even a comedic contact high from the legendary duo, then you probably wouldn't be interested. Their names practically synonymous with marijuana, Richard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong have had what has to be the most lucrative love affair with the drug this side of Bob Marley poster manufacturers. After parting ways in 1985, Marin went onto more mainstream endeavors such as Nash Bridges, The Lion King and Lost, while Chong preserved has his standing as the W. C. Fields of the High Times pop-cultural ghetto. Having buried the hatchet of their publicly acrimonious break-up the duo has returned to the stage in hopes that their act is as timeless as the drug that predicates it.
