No, not that Dreamscape — not the ’80s cable fave with U.S. President Eddie Albert fighting the snake dude who was the bottle-clinking bad guy from The Warriors. (We missed you, director Joseph Rubin, especially during the remake of The Stepfather.) This looks from its trailer like an Inception-ish story about a guy chasing his literal dream girl around Music City, with lots of location shooting and the occasional exploding car. The director, Hans Chilberg, who moved here from LA in 2009 to pursue indie filmmaking — let that sink in a moment — is seeking financial backing, and this fundraiser enlists everything from live music (by Brian Stone Cowboy, Majestico and more) to poetry (from Richard Harper and others) to art and custom clothing (by Chilberg, Otis James Nashville, Chris Baier, Daniel Holland, Mike Reilly, Joseph Armario, Jonathan Davis, Graham Fitzpenn, Liz Thielmann, et al.) to secure the dough.
