Dog Days of Summer

Humans aren't the only ones who struggle to beat the heat. This Adventure Science Center event will explain how dogs stay cool when the mercury climbs—I think it has something to do with their tongues. There will also be demonstrations by Metro Police Department's Street Dog Team and Guiding Eyes for the Blind Canines. With all your new knowledge, you might be ready to take home your very own panting puppy, so the Nashville Humane Association will on on-hand with their mobile adoption unit. Fido decide to keep cool by gobbling an entire pint of ice cream? Cumberland Canine Training Centers will also be offering advice on keeping control of your petulant pooch.
