David Alford's Christmas Down Home

As presented last year as a part of Tennessee Repertory Theatre’s holiday celebration, this folkish/bluegrass revue led by the multitalented David Alford and ace musician/arranger Paul Carrol Binkley was one of the wonderful surprises of the season. It returns for a week’s worth of performances at three venues, again with a savvy ensemble of players, singers who offer engaging renditions of carols, light verse and nostalgic stories, and the Alford/Binkley piece-de-resistance: Truman Capote’s bittersweet “A Christmas Memory.” For more information on specific scheduling visit christmasdownhome.com.
