Christmas in Franklin

One of Franklin's three major downtown festivals, the Dickens of a Christmas celebration, is scheduled this Saturday (Dec. 11) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday (Dec. 12) from 1 to 5 p.m. Some would argue that Franklin has enough characters on its streets daily, but for those who want a touch of old England mixed with Franklin's Victorian charm, the weekend is a perfect opportunity to see Scrooge, Fagin, street musicians and a host of other activities ranging from carriage rides to a town sing.
