Two Moon Gallery has earned its place on the coveted corner of 12th Avenue South and Paris Avenue, surviving lean economic times long enough to be preparing for its second anniversary. That’s quite a feat, and tonight’s opening reception for Capturing Light is a perfect fit for the celebration. Haden Pickel is a versatile painter whose work veers from plein air landscapes to abstract canvases. Randi Solin is a glass artist whose technique combines Venetian glassblowing methods with influences from the American art glass movement. We predict Solin’s work will be a big hit with Nashville gallerygoers who can’t get enough of Dale Chihuly’s organic glass forms.
