Cabaret Français Fantastique

When: Sun., May 22, 4 & 7 p.m. 2011
Don your beret for a salute to all things Gallic, hosted by The Foreign Language Acting Group (F.L.A.G.) and gallery F. Poetry and music from Poulenc to Prevert will encompass classical, jazz, popular and new music, while the gothic revival-style grounds of Scarritt-Bennett serve as backdrop for this mental vacation to France. Tickets are free, so your senses can travel without worrying about customs. Cabaret Français Fantastique is part of a series of events that foster cultural encounters through literature and music. Works featured in tonight’s performances hail from France, Canada and Cajun country, so you should feel right at home whether you enjoy crème brulee or etouffée. Reservations are required, so book your seat for this soiree tout suite!
