Re: “Keith Urban w/Jake Owen

I should clarify, Keith has many more shows all over the US and Canada, sadly I only am able to attend two more.

Re: “Keith Urban w/Jake Owen

Saturday night was the best concert I have ever been to. Keith is the BEST in every way. As a singer his vocals are powerful, emotional, passionate and unique just to Keith Urban. His skill and talent on the guitar continue to be jaw dropping incedible. How someone SO good can continue to get better and better shows how much he loves and appreciates his talent!! As an entertainer there is NO ONE like him or who even comes near him. He is quite simply the BEST there is. Two and a half hours of loving his audience and giving us a night I will never forget. The saddest part of Keith's tour is I only have two more shows. PLEASE Keith take a break and go again in the New Year!!!

Re: “Sade w/John Legend

Saw the show in the ATL july 13th. Great show musically and visually - from song selection to timely costume changes (Sade And the band) and staging. A full two hours of Sade at ther BEST !!! It's a 'must see' concert as they only tour every 10 or so years and she is now a fabulous looking 52 yrs young! I'm also going to see the show tonight to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, with much better seats this time! I hope they are filming for a DVD live release.........

Re: “R. Kelly w/Keyshia Cole & Marsha Ambrosius

Oh my GOD!!! This was by far the best concert that I have ever been too!!! I really respect the way R. kelly interacted with the audience and actually came offstage into the main floor area with us. That was awesome! I will attend every show that he puts on if he ever has anymore here...I loved it!!! He is truly a showman and the radio does notdo his voice justice. He sounds just as good live as he does on the radio. Kudos to you Mr. Kelly :-)

Re: “Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band w/Frankie Ballard

Flew from Chicago to see this show . . enjoyed every minute - Bob opened with Roll Me Away and for the next two hours, we all rolled away! Excellent show!

Re: “Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band w/Frankie Ballard

Special, for all the right reasons. Seger plays to his fans, not to sell tickets or impress the critics. The funniest moment occured during the song "Good For Me". Seger dedicated it to all of our better halves. He sang, "She always knows when I'm too high, DAMN!" LOL Funny Line!

Re: “Rush

There has NEVER been a bad time to see RUSH live. For me, it will be interesting to compare Saturday nights show in Greensboro with the Sunday night show in Nashville. I expect the shows to be simply the BEST EVER. Rush is the most talented three man band on the planet! Klutch

Re: “David Gray and Ray LaMontagne

This is going to be an awesome show. Both artists have pledged to donate 20% of all proceeds from this concert to Habitat for Humanity and through their donation they hope to lend support to help reestablish and rebuild Nashville from the flood devastation. If you haven't heard the new album 'God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise,' you can listen to the whole thing here... http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.p…

Re: “Bon Jovi w/Dashboard Confessional

whoever wrote this article is just jealous of Bon Jovi's success. Face it, they're one of the best rock'n'roll bands in the world and have been for almost three decades. They've sold over 120,000,000 albums and their live performances are great, every single one of them. If you think that's easy and their music is shitty, why is it that millions of fans all over the world love them and nobody knows who you are? There's too much 'reporting' out there without actual research, you should probably try going to one of their concerts before you write about them.

Don't appreciate the 'colorful metaphors' in your writing. Truly shows your lack of intelligence to use bad language instead of searching for a more suitable word. Shock value isn't the way to win readers.

Re: “Train and Maroon 5 w/PJ Morton

I don't know how to feel now because, so far, I think I'm the only one to read this "genious" of a preview to the show last night... Maybe that means that you're right and I could be dead inside... And congrats on getting one person (me) to take the bait and respond to this piece of journalism brilliance. This will probably be your only comment/response so I hope you enjoy reading it... By the way. Train was fantastic, as usual, last night.

Re: “Kid Rock w/Jamey Johnson

During Super Bowl XXXVIII, in which Janet Jackson had her "wardrobe malfunction," Kid Rock, in his performance, wore the American flag as a freaking PONCHO, then hurled it over his head and into the audience. Personally, I find Kid's disrespect for our flag to be WAY more offensive than Janet's take on burlesque. If you find yourself drawn to banal and insipid performers who need to rely on the American flag and faux patriotism to keep your attention, all the power to you, but Adam Gold and MANY others can see right through that bullshite. I'll pass on the free pass, thanks.

Now someone PLEASE tell me why Kid Rock got a star on the Music City Walk of Fame, other than for the fact he has property here?

Re: “Kid Rock w/Jamey Johnson

Sounds like someone is a bit pissed off because he wasn't given a free pass to the show or maybe he failed himself in the music biz. Either way if you have been to a Kid Rock concert this year you would see that it is a helluva show and quite entertaining to watch. Isn't that what a good show is all about? I have been to alot of concerts and have to say that this particular one I have seen 3 times in 3 states for various reasons, and each time has been a little different than the last, and all equally ENTERTAINING!!! By the way, I wasn't
huge fan before I went but I am now after seeing the kind of show you get for the money you pay!!

On the other hand, I did think "whaaaa?" when I got to the part about slaughtering kittens and puppies. Was that fair? At least you didn't have Kid corpse-raping anyone. Thank goodness!

Re: “Kid Rock w/Jamey Johnson

I think the "cockroach" thing was about how Kid manages to keep on going despite getting dumped on all the time, just as cockroaches have been keepin' on since the Big Bang and supposedly will survive nuclear Armageddon. Thus Adam was in a way making the same point as Mr./Ms. Why--that "he has stuck around longer than a lot of artists." Is this a good thing? I would say no. He seems to have little talent and relies mostly on being a human commodity, much like Kim Kardashian. I'll be up front and admit that he reminds me of loud, imposing, unpredictable assholes I'd work hard to stay away from in high school. This is a human commodity I'm way, way done with.

Re: “Kid Rock w/Jamey Johnson

Kid Rock makes music you have to turn off your brain, and your ears, to enjoy. If that's your thing, fine. It's what people do when they go to see an Adam Sandler flick, and a Sandler movie is a fair comparison to a Kid Rock album. An assault on the artistic merits of Kid Rock is not an assault on middle America. That's a ridiculous assertion. Kid Rock is a wealthy guy, who once attacked a Nashville strip club DJ, a guy getting paid a shitty hourly wage plus tips, for cracking a joke about him on the mic. There's an actual assault on middle America, and one that illustrates the big phony that Kid Rock is. He's the John Rich of rock. So chow down on the double whopper from Burger King that would be Kid Rock's music, but don't get upset when someone points out you're not eating a steak from Morton's. Turn off your brain, ears, and taste, and "Just Go With It". Kid Rock defenders, just be men enough to admit you like it big and dumb, and you don't give shit about artistic merit, quality, or originality. That's the statement Kid Rock himself is comfortable making, and you should be comfortable with that too if you're a fan.

Honestly... A cockroach? You act like it's a bad thing that KidRock's fans don't include a bunch of pretentious dicks like you. I think that's a wonderful thing. I actually think that in a further effort to avoid your kind all together I am going to stop reading your magazine till they fire you.

Re: “Kid Rock w/Jamey Johnson

Yeah, Adam totally has a crush on Robert Richie.
What did kid rock ever do to you, man?
He is just making records and doing shows. He might not be the hippest cat on the planet but he has stuck around longer than a lot of artists. And that lowest common denominator you are writing about are everyday people that might not have had the opportunity at higher education but bust their asses everyday to make life a little easier for all of us. One last thing- I think you are a terrible writer. Hurts don't it.
