Being a die hard Beach Boys fan who still plays the vinyl and own a Beach Boys 4/play 45 with picture sleeve - somehow I just couln't justify going to see Brian as a former shadow of himself. Ironically Monday night on The Factor - Bill O'Reilly awarded Mike Love and Bruce Johnston (now touring as the Beach Boys without Al Jardine )as his "Patriots" after their recent benefit concert in Galveston! Too bad they are now THREE bands. Even Al Jardine has a band with his two sons singing the same songs. Really miss their early harmonies when they were the real thing!!!
