Best Unconventional Schermerhorn Crowd

Patrons of Video Games Live

Writers Choice

We never thought we’d see the day when the Schermerhorn was filled to capacity with cosplayers, preteens and gamers of all varieties, but this performance — featuring the Nashville Symphony playing orchestral versions of classic video game music, along with video, a light show and live action — made that day a reality. However offbeat the crowd, their energy was infectious. Moments not flooded with deafening cheers were spent in awe of the Nashville Symphony, a local treasure many in attendance might not have experienced otherwise.
