Those who miss Mary Mancini’s old Lucy’s Record Shop as well as the sad-eyed Weimaraner who provided its name should check out East Nashville’s Fond Object. Not only is it a similar all-purpose creative emporium — including one of the city’s best vinyl stashes — but its greeter is co-owner Coco Hames’ lovable pot-bellied pig Dottie. Sure, she goes through her “humpy” stages — who doesn’t? — but visitors delight in sneaking apples to the bristly little cutie. Just mind the door — especially with Bailey & Cato’s BBQ nearby.
