We have counted, recounted, and recounted again. We have argued over pregnant envelopes and dimpled ballots. We have called in our top attorneys from the firm of Supreme Uber Uno & Victors. We have taken our case to the Supreme Court of the Most Excellent, and the justices have ruled:
This is the Best of Nashville. Herein, we present our guide to all that is tip-top, top-notch, and topmost in our fair city.
As in past years, the winners fall into two divisions. First, there are the readers’ choices, which were voted on by you, the Scene readers. Then there are the writers’ choices, which our ever-curious scribes have spent months determining are (in their not-always-so-humble opinions) the undisputed best that our city has to offer.
Think of the pages that follow as an annotated map to our city, pointing out those restaurants, parks, businesses, artists, athletes, and other things that make it a more livable, more enjoyable place. It might remind you of some local treasure you’ve forgotten, or it may take you someplace entirely new. But then, that’s why we love this townafter all, it is The Best.
