The buzz that greeted the Nashville outpost of Sean Brock’s hugely successful Charleston restaurant approached the fanfare for the arrival of Prince George, but Husk has mostly lived up to the hype. We’ve had mixed experiences at lunch, but dinner is sublime. Chef de cuisine Morgan McGlone’s menu imaginatively updates Southern specialties and spotlights the freshest local ingredients. The menu changes daily, but be sure to order the Southern vegetable plate (which may seem pricey at $25, until you see and taste it) or anything with pork. Getting a reservation can be tough, but we’ve thought about that too. (See here.)
