It isn't just vibrant colors that make Teresa Mason's taco wagon the most head-turning vehicle since the Partridge Family's bus. Stocked with succulent chicken tacos, her disco-era Winnebago was an instant hit at this year's Tomato Art Festival, drawing a line down the block. These days, repairs permitting, she stations herself at East Nashville's Five Points in the wee, wee hours with a limited but creative menu that includes chicken, fish, quinoa and spicy mashed-potato tacos along with tamales—good news for liquored-up tummies that can't handle tripe, barbacoa and other hardcore specialties on Nolensville Road's thriving lunch-wagon beat. Check myspace.com/mastacos to see where she'll be and when. —JIM RIDLEY
