We raved about chef Jamie Watson’s delightful if decadent duck confit hash in last year’s Best of Nashville, but there’s not a dud on the entire brunch menu. No one in town makes a better quiche, and even a seemingly mundane item like a cheese omelet can be sublime when cooked by Watson and his staff. Throw in the fabulous house-made pastries (particularly the pain au chocolat) and some of the best frites in town, and the Café Fundamental brunch is hard to beat. (And for some great deals on excellent fare, check out the restaurant’s specially priced Bonne Nuit Tuesday dinners.)
