In this spooky Twilight Zone of broadcast immortality, Mr. T, Alan Thicke, Zodiac songmeister Harvey Sid Fisher, and a parade of screechy no-talents on a community-access amateur hour live on like gods on Olympus. Meanwhile, the highest rung of stardom is reserved for Jack Rebney, a sputtering Winnebago pitchman who cant even flip a coin on camera without loosing a torrent of obscenities. Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher (an MST3K/David Letterman vet) started this traveling program of video oddities in 2004 to help finance their X-rated-honky-tonk documentary Dirty Country, which screened last year at the Nashville Film Festival. Since then, theyve appeared on NPR, Jimmy Kimmel Live and G4s Attack of the Show while maintaining their search for the world&'s goofiest video flotsam. Live, they'll serve as narrators/hecklers/mixmasters for the evening, cueing up anything from penis-pump how-to videos to a side-splitting insurance-company montage of industrial accidents.
