Barcamp Nashville at Cadillac Ranch

Cyberspace Camp

Cyberspace Camp
Billed as an “unconference”—meaning you don’t shell out hundreds of bucks for registration and the chance to chase Shriners around the hotel pool—the third edition of Nashville’s free-wheeling digital and new media symposium gathers bloggers, tweeters, webcasters, entrepreneurs, HR managers and workers from across the technological spectrum for a day of shared ideas and old-fashioned face-to-face social networking. In BarCamp’s loose-limbed structure registrants often double as session moderators, and topics range from First Amendment freedoms in practice online to producing entertainment content for the Xbox 360 platform. If the event’s attendance gains hold steady from last year, there could be several hundred people on hand. So check out the website at barcampnashville.com for (free) registration and schedule information.
