Apples In Stereo

Original members of Elephant Six, the Athens, Ga., collective that churned out a few humble greats during the dominant grunge howl of the ’90s, Apples In Stereo reawakened the nostalgia in every indie pop zealot with last year’s New Magnetic Wonder. Their first album in five years, Wonder is a surprisingly successful attempt at a synchronized sprint in all four directions, capturing the breadth of the indie veterans’ capabilities over a lolling 24 tracks. Given the recent release of catch-all B-sides compilation Electronic Projects for Musicians, this tour could prove to be a trek down memory lane, with setlists spanning the seminal group's decade-plus career.
