Keeping tradition is a big thing this time of year, and by now Andrew Petersons touring Christmas musical Behold the Lamb is practically tradition. This is the 10th year that the reflective, acoustic Christian singer-songwriter has gathered up his like-minded friendsmost of them also singer-songwritersand headed out on the road with a folky, 12-song narration of the Christmas story that draws heavily on the Christian scriptures. This year will be no different: singer-songwriters aplenty (they play the first set in the round), plus enough players to fill out a refined acoustic combo. Sixpence None the Richer, Pierce Pettis, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan, Andrew Osenga and Randall Goodgame are among the announced guests. And, to mark the anniversary, theyre offering a special two-disc version of the Behold the Lamb album.
