What type of cars do you prefer to work on? Probably the muscle cars because they're so basic and to the point. My favorite cars would definitely be the Model A roadsters, but I tend to like whatever I'm working on at the time.
If someone where looking for an older car to hot rod or collect, is there anything out there that's reasonably priced anymore? That's a hard one to answer. I guess you kind of have to be clairvoyant and buy one of those cars that's the next big thing.
How does nostalgia play into it? The majority of my customers are people who have finally made it, and they want the car they couldn't afford when they where 16 or 17, or they want their first car back.
Ford, Chevy or Dodge? Well, that's all a matter of opinion, and car guys will go on for days about who had the best. In my opinion, Chevy had the '69 Copo Camaro, Dodge and Chrysler had the Hemi cars, and Ford had the Mustang Mach I with the big block. I don't want to play favorites.... I like 'em all.
