From Charlie Rich's "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" to Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler," from sessions with Elvis, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash to John Denver, Henry Mancini and Tom Jones, drummer Jerry Carrigan put the heartbeat in some of country's most epochal hits and filled countless pop dates with Muscle Shoals soul. The renowned sideman surveys his career with Hall of Fame stringed-instrument curator Bill Lloyd as part of the museum’s ongoing series "Nashville Cats: A Celebration of Music City Session Players," and he'll sign autographs afterward in the museum store. Ask him about opening for The Beatles with R&B hitmaker Tommy Roe. Free with museum admission.
