<![CDATA[There is no such thing as a good Chinese Buffet; it's food that's supposed to be made just before, practically as before you eat it, and all that "swimming in glop" under a heat lamp is an awful parody of the food. Yeah, Chinatown is the best option now, though I've found the "new, improved" version hit and miss, though encouraging--but every halfway decent Chinese place here that's tried to do any of the real food--China Chef, the small Shanghai place, Lucky Bamboo as it first was--has died for lack of enough response.

<![CDATA[Well, whatever the reason, I am glad that we now have dinner at Chinatown as a viable option. I had a hot & spicy fresh fish hotpot off their specials board last weekend that was eye-opening.

<![CDATA[I know I've written this a dozen times, but the reason we don't have good Chinese food here is that there aren't a lot of long-time Chinese residents here. It's a matter of migration.
