Franklin's biggest sin was lack of originality. LSU fans have called him Nick Satan ever since he swore loyalty to them even as he was secretly packing his bags to coach the Miami Dolphins.

Besides, I think God refers to the Abababa coach as Satan, so why is it wrong from Franklin to do it?

Given that this particular Satan was exiled from the Heaven of the NFL, the dictum "Better to reign in Hell than to serve in Heaven" seems a perfect explanation for his demonic drive to win.

Of course, that does not speak well for Tuscaloosa, where Satan dwells.
