(For those of you not familiar, minimum wage is $7.25/hour, but if you are classified as a 'tipped employee' your minimum wage is $2.13/hour. HOWEVER, if your tips received - and they must all be received by YOU, not your employer - do not bring you up to the $7.25/hour minimum, your employer is required to make up the difference per hour.

The "thank you" or acknowledgement goes a long way with me.

I do this because ... a) I'm just that kind of guy; b) I was once a restaurant dishwasher who also had to clean the bathrooms and try not to forget that; c) it's a lot easier to remember to just tip the same way all the time?
