      <![CDATA[As Laura notes, the point is about the neutrality of mediated images, and about the information that is hidden, cropped out, or made palatable in order to distract our attention from underlying social transformations that may prove to contradict the narrative of those in power. The critical work in the exhibition is the brilliant video,  "It's already the End of the World," one of the most compelling, poetic, and haunting visions of apocalypse that I have seen in recent years.
