<![CDATA["2b", The great thing about this new music venue/park is that if you aren't sure if you want to pay to get in to listen and watch the music happening "live", you can hang around the sidelines for free. This new park is ideal for me to not be wasting money being bored and getting caught up in the maddening crowds that I have seen in the Music City where "live" music is in high quantity and lacking in an abundance of high quality or I would want to spend countless time there but that just isn't so for me anymore.

<![CDATA[I agree that having a viable outdoor venue downtown is a positive step. I'm simply frustrated that several bands that I greatly enjoy are choosing to not play here despite being so close.

<![CDATA[Demonbruen Street is my favorite street in Nasvhille, TN... from the river to the Music Row Circle (1) Lawn at Riverfront Park (2) Schemmerhorn/spelling? (3) Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (4) Bridgestone Arena , which is a quick juant to get to the Ryman Auditorium (5) opening, eventually/ Music City Center (6) Cummins Station and down the road to Cannery Ballroom/Mercy Lounge and Third Man Records (7) entrance to the Gulch area and down the road to the Station Inn (8) a whole slew of joints/places up to the circle road with the fountain of naked statues.

<![CDATA[Hey, Tob - the Soundland lineup is very good, Zac Brown's fest looks pretty decent, and I'd wager to say that Skrillex and Pretty Lights both have a pretty large following in Asheville (which is one of my favorite towns, btw.) I think the fact that we have a budding outdoor downtown live music space is good news.
