      <![CDATA[@Sam: Like any rote application of a meme, minimalist designs can be lazy and dull-witted. I like these, though, because there's an element of play and they aren't explicitly aping the artists' styles (i.e., they didn't take an actual Warhol or Lichtenstein and cut out the iconic emblems).

      <![CDATA[Since I'm among friends, I feel comfortable saying this... but I hate these "minimalistic" series being spread all over the internet, I really do. The designs are lazy and while the idea is somewhat cute (I won't go so far as to say clever) I can't help but feel like whoever designs things like this could put their skills to a more productive use.
