Just one persons opinion, but considering the steady introduction of new laws and the apparent inclination to elevate more and more offenses to incarceration worthy, every American should be concerned, frightened and angry that such an entity as CCA is allowed to exist.

For example, when I was growing up, kids trying to buy alcohol or tobacco was considered a problem to be dealt with by parents. Today, my perception is the entire legal system is brought to bear.

What is to stop politicians from criminalizing everything, sending more people to jail, privately operated, for profit jails, to boost corporate incomes?

Anyone who believes elected officials would not stoop so low has a much higher opinion than I of our elected employees.

I believe CCA and other such companies should be disbanded and the supposed reason for incarcerating people, to rehabilitate them and change their behavior be undertaken once more by government.
