      <![CDATA[I think a running theme through out this series has been the question, "Can a movie be subjectively good, despite being objectively bad?" You see that most clearly in The Room, where it is an absolute failure as a movie, but is (arguably) a subjectively fun experience.

      <![CDATA[I think there are certain movies that you just have to see at a specific time in your life. The Goonies still holds up for me, but it's impossible to divorce that love for it from the film's nostalgic allure, and my attachment to the kid I was when I first saw it.

      <![CDATA[The love for this movie astounds me. I mean, I loved the LAND OF THE LOST TV show when I was a kid, but I saw it a few years ago and decided the 11-year-old me must've been on crack. If my kids had to watch a Josh Brolin movie, I'd rather show them NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.
