Mark, I was not questioning the sheriff or his department --- the news articles reported that the Hawks had been drinking early Sunday morning and that Rep. David Hawk was arrested the same day about 8:00 a.m.

If the reported law enforcement incident reports stated that the arrested and the victim had been drinking alcoholic beverages sometime prior to his arrest, it just seems to me that the news reports should have also inquired as to if the arrested (Rep. David Hawk) was ordered to submit to a breathalyzer test in order to determine his blood alcohol content at the time of his arrest...

Unless, perhaps, Sheriff Steve Burns and Greene County Sheriff Department was wanting to help Rep. David Hawk with his defense.
