The Franklin police did not comment so B Phillips basically knows little if anything about this case.

I don't know what the actual facts are, but I don't think this implied syllogism is necessarily logical. It's a bit like saying that since most accidents take place within 30 miles (or whatever) of home, you should never go home.

Such is the problem with rapists--they don't wear big signs announcing that they're rapists. Most of the time, they're people you trust and feel safe around.
