And Nicki, I didn't mean to imply that Surf-N-Turf was invented in the 90s, just that black linens make me think of 90's restaurants that would serve it.

Regarding surf-and-turf, I got curious b/c I think of it as 1970s, but it could be a false memory, so I looked it up in the American dictionary of Food & Drink: along with other variants like "steer and pier" and "lobsteer" and "beef and reef" it began to appear in the 1960s and 1970s. Beef & reef--that'd be worth reviving just for the name.

I stopped by the new Thai and Sushi place on Franklin Road this past week and noticed the art on the walls was from an artist who has a gallery in the Arcade (Andy Ahn Ha) and man, one thing about that guy: his work is pretty expensive, if I'm not mistaken. Unless they got a bulk discount or something, they must have dropped 5 grand plus on the wall art alone, not to mention lighting, tablecloths, etc. It looked REALLY nice.
And the food was aiight.
