      <![CDATA[After many of the low income projects were torn down and housing all over Davidson county was used for section 8, the crime rate exploded in neighborhoods that had never seen it before. Instead of doing away with crimes, that were mentioned in this story, it was spread throughout the county.

      <![CDATA[Interesting that the reporter gave credit to Bill Purcell for the increase in affordable housing from 2000-2007, but blamed the recession for the slow in progress after 2007 without reference to leadership priorities. And later Rev. Barnes even questions whether there is a lack of will at the Courthouse to carry through with a proposal to fund affordable housing with real estate revenues; the comeback quote: an obtuse excuse from Janel Lacy.<br>
