This is Mr. Hargrove's second post attempting to tear down a Tennessean story based on reports or comments from experts at the Migration Policy Institute. Last time, Mr. Hargrove was trying to argue points of law and discredit the position of Muzaffar Chishti, the director of MPI's office at the New York University School of Law.

An honest and thorough perusal of Mr. Chishti's bona fides would show he is a graduate of Cornell Law, a frequent expert witness before Congress and counsel to various foreign governments on matters of migration policy.

And Mr. Hargrove writes for the Nashville Scene.

As a consumer of news from many different sources, I appreciate the effort by the local daily to locate, source and make use of the perspective of a group like MPI.

Illegal immigration has remained fairly steady through several recent recessions. A recent study by Northeastern University labor analysts concluded that foreign workers, legal and illegal, are gaining U.S. jobs while Americans are losing them.

President Obama is NOT focusing on worksite enforcement and has shown no interest in pushing the mandatory E-Verify bills (to target employers) that even Democrats are sponsoring and have sponsored in Congress!

No, Obama wants to spend federal resources attacking Arizona's efforts to defend itself against our federal government's radical, suicidal policies.
