      <![CDATA[The most moving picture from the Iraqi elections I saw on television yesterday was a woman in a black hood that showed only her eyes. She held up two fingers (what Americans would call the Peace sign) to display that her index finger had been inked.<br /><br />I don't know if she intended the double meaning (peace and that she voted), but it struck me.
