Tranlsation:

Mephisto STILL has no coherent rationale for why the judges involved in Roe vs Wade know better what the intent of the founding fathers was regarding the Constitutionality of abortion laws than the judges who lived in the ACTUAL TIME of the founding farthers who never invalidated any such laws for that reason when they were enacted back then.

      John, better hold your ears....

GM, it's really galling that you have the nerve to accuse me of not having an answer for your poorly written gibberish when you have refused, again, again, and again, to answer my call for intellectual honesty on your part, and when you consistenty dodge (or just mock) questions you don't like.

The really stupid thing about your last completely juvenile and incoherent post is that I DID answer that statement. You, coward that you are, refused to answer my rebuttal, instead spewing (like a frickin 2-year old brat) that I am "full of it."

It's galling, but then again, it is pretty funny to watch you show the rest of us what an idiot you are.

The above which further serves to illustrate my original point that got all this started in this thread to begin with - bb's highly selective concern for "changing democracy" that he claims Frist's fillibuster changes will create.

The paramters of the legality of abortion dwelt in the democratic state legislative arena for over a hundrend years before it was yanked out of it by judges who claimed to see something in the Constitution related to it - something that those who lived in the founding fathers time never saw that prevented any abortion laws from being created.

I'd say that had a pretty big effect of "changing democracy" - all cheered on by liberals like bb.

"It's not up to you or me, GM - that's why there's a judicial system. I would think after all your ranting, you'd know that."

The only one ranting is you Mephisto, I'm not one squaking about, Nazi's etc.

And the discussion isn't about "who it's up to" It's about the legitimacy of the rationale that judges have used to rule on what is and isn't Constututional.

Ultimately everything is "up to" whoever has the power to force their way on everbody else by whatever means they can do it.

That's why it's been "up to" those judges who say the government can force you to participate in social security to make it stick.
