Hopefully they'll be back sooner than later.

La Hacienda on Nolensville Rd (near I-440) is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Not sure if they are back open after repairs, but its a good deal, great food, and they unlike La Fiesta, they have booze (and when I ate there the day after opening, I got the impression they had no plans on getting a liquor license...hope I was wrong on that).

You're totally wrong. Milanesa con papas is a popular dish all across Latin America.

BTW, Milanesa con Papas precedes Country Fried Steak on the La Fiesta menu, which precedes Steak & Baby Back Ribs, which precedes Full Rack of Ribs, which precedes Fried Chicken, which precedes something called ACP--grilled chicken, melted cheese, steamed broccoli and carrots. Can we get some meatloaf?

Honestly, I would rather have the menu at La Fiesta than another mega-burrito place. I noticed that one is going where Cuisine of India (RIP) was...Super Mega Happy Burrito, or something like that...
I'm sure it is just an often used name, but the name La Fiesta reminds me of a once greasy favorite on M'boro road.

If it's Milanesa call it Milanesa, though that sounds kinda Italian to me. On this menu, it is cooked, labeled and sold as a Country Fried Steak, which is a Texas dish. Yes, Texas is close to Mexico, but Country Fried Steak served with french fries is not Authentic Mexican Food.
