<![CDATA[Tomba, I think Aretha's "Respect" is far better than Otis'. Franklin had already been recording for years by the time she made her Atlantic sides--she really already was a star.

<![CDATA[When she sings "Respect" just remember the creative talent behind that song - the late Otis Redding. Without him, she might have been just a flicker of light rather than a star.

<![CDATA[Just saw their show (Sunday night) at the Ryman and it was the most ridiculously good concert that I've seen in quite a while. The band and Grace seem slightly nuts but there is some kind of back door genius to what they're doing.

<![CDATA[Scene, if your intent was to send a reviewer to the show whose views would be contrary to everyone else in attendance, you succeeded. Next time, how about sending a legitimate reviewer/writer to cover a heavyweight rock and roll, legend of a band, not some neophite still cutting his teeth on technomusic.

<![CDATA[Adam...really...that is your "professional" review of a band that has consistently produced music since 1970, actually plays their on guitars better than any 20 year old, writes their own material, and performs for the love of the music...not the ticket sales. You obviously have never "Listened to the Music" of the Doobies and do not even know Templeman produced pre McDonald era music for them.

<![CDATA[I attended APC June 18TH..Over the years..the show has gotten better..if that's possible..Mandy's vocals were "stunniing" and she's more comfortable than ever in the role of Patsy Cline..Tere Myers is hilarious..and has the audience in stitches..Mandy signed copies of her FANTASTIC new CD"Sweet Dreams" and received TWO standing ovations from a packed house..They wouldn't let her off the stage!! Bravo!!
