Re: “Please Vaccinate Your Children

I am the mother of an Autistic adult. Vaccines did not cause it. I wouldn't expose him to Measles and Polio attempting to change him.

Re: “Please Vaccinate Your Children

Vaccinated people DO have cause for concern. Herd immunity breaks down when the population stops vaccinating. Infants too young to immunize, the elderly and the immunocompromised are most at risk.

Re: “No, Not Our Parks!

Privatizing the parks will have the same effect as gentrification. The locals, whose history is buried in the park, will no longer be able to afford the park.

Re: “No, Not Our Parks!

My grandparents are buried in Natchez Trace. So are their parents, their siblings and a few cousins my age. The house my grandparents lived in is on the park property. There has been someone in my family working for the park system my entire life. I could walk in the lodge today and someone there would be able to tell me a story about my grandfather.

With the exception of a short period of time when there was a PacMan was in the basement, nothing has changed in the park. No, that's not true. The trees have gotten taller. The park is a place where every family gathers for picnics, everyone goes fishing and there are no ads on trees, no McDonald's wrappers on the ground and no vending machine every few feet.

You won't know what you've lost until it's gone.
