Re: “Shudder to Think: Cuddle Monsters on the Loose in Middle Tennessee

@xray: I cannot comment on lemming people. Cuddling has been going on since the day we were born. Id hate to be a lemming and constipated that long. I think though being able to have a proper bowel movement is a good be happy too..:)

Re: “Shudder to Think: Cuddle Monsters on the Loose in Middle Tennessee

This is hilarious..!!! I love it. I appreciate that the writer of this column is participating in the Cuddle Party Rules that Cuddle Party created. ELECTRIC LARRY as well as the rest of you that disagree with Cuddling or being Hugged or Touched by someone IS SAYING NO..:) Thankyou for looking out for you. Its not for everyone, and that is okay. We want you to say No to any touch that you feel is inappropriate for you. This Rule applys at a Cuddle Party as well as in real life situations. Many are afraid of rejection. No one wants to be hurt or heart broken when someone says No to them. Imagine a woman standing by the window looking out day dreaming thinking to herself..I miss the moments when my boyfriend /husband used to come up and hug me from behind..In the meantime her boyfriend /husband is sitting on the couch watching TV seeing his girlfriend/wife standing by the window and thinking to himself. I wish for the moments when she used to come and snuggle up with me on the couch talk, laugh, giggle..Instead both stay silent instead of reaching out to each other and communicating what each other wants because each feels that the other doesn't care or love each other enough to bother. Resentment begins to build..likely this relationship will not sad.
In our Workshops we give you the tools to learn how to get passed this. To learn to say No to one thing and Yes to something else. Instead of a hug or massage maybe you just want to sit and talk. This is great. Your communicating. Saying Yes to you. No to what doesn't feel right to you..:) To attend Pajamas Stay on the entire time. No deveating from this Rule Ever. No Alcohol, No Drugs, No Violence Ever. The space created is Safe for Everyone. Those that do not feel that they can not stay within the Rules are asked to leave. Banned if necessary. Touch is in everything we do each minute of the day. Through verbal, sight, sound like music, feeling. Laughtrr and tears are welcome, and yes some get aroused. That's happens when we are touched in a way that feels nice, Stroking your hair, touching or holding your hand, just having a conversation that makes you laugh. We need this and it keeps us healthy and engaged. I love it. I really missed the affection. It made me cry story. I desrved to be treated in a way that made me feel special.

Thanks for bringing this up. Hugs to all of you. Its not new, we've been doing this since we were born. Some just forgot how. You don't pay for cuddling your paying for the space, the facilitators time, food. Take care..:)
