Re: “Chris Feinstein Memorial This Morning at Belcourt

I know this is many years since Chris's death, but I go to the Cooper diner, downstairs from where Chris lived, from time to time. The guys there often ask me about him and speak in glowing terms about Chris and his girl Meredith who frequented the place. This many years later they remember him the same way I do. A kind, smart, happy, handsome and talented person with an easy smile and a warm wit. Think of him whenever I walk by that place. I only knew him a few years but we became fast friends and I was very sorry to hear that he passed away at such a young age.

I met him while walking down the street one day and continued to run into him from time to time in the neighborhood. So frequently in fact that he asked me "are you following me", to which I replied "are you following ME?". After that we had many friendly, funny conversations. He was a very bright warm hearted guy, always had a kind word - a rarity in these days. A sharing heart. RIP
