Re: “Haslam: Fixing Education Fixes Poverty

Charming Billy sat in front of a lot of great teachers at The Webb School and Emory but can't express himself coherently.
As for the substance of his barely intelligible remarks, is he unaware of the high underemployment rate among college grads in the US and other developed countries?

Re: “Gov. Haslam Needs Better Friends If He's Going to Keep Hiring Them

It looks like transition coordinator Tom Ingram, the longtime Haslam tamily rep, staffed this administration with amateurs so he could call the shots, with the fawning Cate as his main lackey. Buti it's hard to be the middle man between The Haslams and a Governor Haslam.
I wonder how influential Big Jim and Jimmy have been in staffing and calling the shots at The Great State Of Tennessee, Llc.
Emkes admitted to Tom Humphrey that Jimmy and Brad Martin recruited him. And Pilot board member Mike Loya is one of 7 global directors of Vitol Group, the owner of the Catoosa WMA coal operator.
Josh Flory's KNS series "Rise of the House of Haslam" (Jan 2011) tells of the overbearing influence Big Jim and Jimmy have had on Bill in the past, discouraging him from entering the ministry, pushing him into Pilot, then nudging him into politics.

Re: “Michelle Rhee's StudentsFirst Beefing Up in Tennessee

$ 10k from Students First to our "moderate" governor. Dick and Betsy DeVos were one of a small number of out - of state households to max out campaign contributions to Charming Billy.
