Re: “Marsha Blackburn Waxes Nostalgic about When She Made Twice the Minimum Wage”
Do any of you employ people? What do you think happened at every fast-food joint when the minimum hourly wage was raised from $5.15 to $7.25? Think about it, if you owned a Wendy's and the government raised your wage costs about 30 percent. By the way, nobody's really ordering $4 sandwiches anymore. Most are ordering off the $1 menu. You think you're going to hire anyone? Not likely. It's more likely that you're going to let a couple of employees go. Now think of how many fast-food joints exist in America. Still think minimum wage hikes are good for job growth?
