Re: “Diane Black is Trying to Assure the Right of DC Employers to Fire their Employees for Using Birth Control

DC Citizen. Welcome.

"Third, this all isn't to say I'm pleased about your Congresswoman's intervention in our own politics. It would be great if some lady from Tennessee would buzz off and let us do our thing. It would be wonderful if the District were allowed our own representation in Congress (we're not, by the way). "

Agreed. Residents of the District are victims of taxation without representation. To make matters worse, any law passed by the Council can be vetoed by Congress. It is past time for this situation to be rectified.

Re: “Lawmakers Seek to Punish School Boards for Suing State

Easy solution. Fully fund BEP. That's all that the lawsuit is asking. However, you'd rather putz around wasting entire days debating crap that does nothing to help the people of Tennessee. That's taxpayer money that went down the sewer for sure.

Re: “Yup, They Said It: Todd Gardenhire Thinks Vasectomies Are Harder To Get Than Abortions

Min, Gardenhire IS an ass. I'm a constituent (God help me) and I don't have to assume anything.

Re: “Sen. Gardenhire Calls Insure Tennessee Supporter 'Asshole'

Gardenhire is my Senator, God help me. If there is any asshole in the conversation, it is him. Arrogant, patristic, and privileged asshole at that. Of course, he is an equal opportunity asshole in that he considers anyone who disagrees with him to be beyond contempt.

Re: “Court Fight Over State Education Funding Officially Begins (Updated)

It's high time that the school districts of this state take the state back to court to get the funding that should have come through following the last lawsuit.
