d. patrick apparently missed all of the websites devoted to Bowie's "area". There's even a shot out there of it actually exposed. While the above picture makes it look bigger than it probably is, I don't think it's because the suit is stuffed. I think it's because his frame is so damn narrow and thin that an on the higher end of average "area" looks extra large in comparison. Oh, also, from the director's notes, they used a trick mastered by female impresonators to hide the "area" while he was in the latex that covered it. Said impersonators kind of tape it down and under between their legs. Horribly uncomfortable, from what I'm told, but it pretty much makes it undectable. :shudder:
