I remember this day as if it was yesterday. The person who wrote this email was also the person who was commanded to carry me up the steps on that hot summer day. As I was reading his story, I chuckled as he told of the fallen soldier who was fighting sleep, that was also me. Working with William Pope L. was one of the most rewarding experiences thus far for me. No one will ever tell a story the Way Pope L. tells his stories.
