I really hate to necropost such an old thread but I just wanted to drop my two cents on fondly remembered restaurants. Of course, I was but a child then but I remember the Ultraviolet Diner for its cowhide barstools and beautiful chocolate-oreo milkshakes. I also miss Lorenzo's on the corner of Nolensville and Thompson Lane, it's torn down now and a drugstore stands in its place. I miss the El Palenque on Nolensville up the road from the K&S international market (that used to be a Service merchandise!) and across from what used to be a Quincy's steakhouse. I miss Jamaica's cheddar biscuits and fish tanks. I miss the chinese restaurant that is now a parking lot across from South Street (Peking Garden, I think it was) and the original Goten. So many delicious memories...
